🎬 Adding a Video

πŸ“ Step 1: Import the video into your library

Go to Admin β†’ Videos β†’ "Add a video".

Fill in the following fields:

  • Title: visible to the learner. Keep it clear and descriptive. E.g. "Introduction to the CAP Method"

  • Context: short description shown before playback.

  • Tags: optional, useful for organizing your library.

  • File: upload your video.

πŸ“ Step 2: Add the video to a program

Go to Admin β†’ Programs β†’ your program β†’ Structure tab.

  1. Click "Add a step" in the desired mission.

  2. Select the 🎬 Video type.

  3. Pick your video from the list.

Available gamification settings:

  • Weight: relative importance in the overall program score (default: 1).

  • Blocking: you can block the next step or the rest of the program until the video has been watched.

πŸ’‘ Videos work great at the start of a program to set the theoretical foundation, or between difficulty levels to prepare learners for a tougher scenario.

βš™οΈ Managing existing videos

In Admin β†’ Videos, you'll find two tabs:

  • Active videos: visible and usable in programs.

  • Disabled videos: hidden but not deleted. You can reactivate them anytime.

⚠️ If the list is empty, no SCORM has been imported yet. Add one first via Admin β†’ Scorms.

βš™οΈ Managing existing SCORMs

In Admin β†’ Scorms, two tabs:

  • Active SCORMs: visible and usable.

  • Disabled SCORMs: hidden but not deleted.

πŸ’‘ Tip: videos and SCORMs let you alternate between theory and practice within a program. Place them before simulation situations so your learners come in prepared.
